Your cube will move faster when jumping (but you won't collect pellets) so use jump when trying to evade an opponent or when trying to catch them to stop them scoring.
Try to always carry a powerball, this will give you a speed boost.
Taunt your opponent into using their attack and then get in quickly with a counter attack.
Try to be systematic when collecting pellets. Make sure that stray pellets are not left on distant parts of the grid where they may be forgotten until the end of the round.
Try to keep a close eye on your opponents pellet meter. If they are nearly full you must attack quickly to regain the advantage.
The greed powerball allows you to suck up nearby pellets without the need to roll over them. This can be especially useful when pellets are on a remote platform.
The frustration powerball creates a hidden trap for your opponent to fall into. To increase your chances of successfully trapping your opponent set the trap on a single lane or narrow pathway.
The shield not only protects you from your opponents attacks but can also be used to counter attack by bumping into them while the shield is active.
The hyper powerball can give you a major speed advantage over your opponent. You will be able to collect pellets at great speed but you need real skill to keep your geon under control.
The fear powerball can have a detrimental effect on your opponent as it obscures their grid and hides your movements. Try cloaking the grid just before you're about to score a goal or sneak up on your opponent for a deadly attack.
The passion powerball can be used to attack your opponent. A well timed slide will knock many pellets from your opponent but needs great skill and timing to get it right.
The damage inflicted by the jump attack is dependant on range. Try to get as close to your opponent as possible to maximise damage.
The shock powerball lays a deadly electric trail for an opponent to roll on to. if a player jumps whilst deploying a shock powerball they can weave a random pattern across the grid making it difficult for an opponent to avoid.
Try not to give up the league mid season since every season you complete is added to your profile. Complete 20 seasons and unlock an achievement.
The passion powerball is great on open grids especially if you slide from one side to another and pick up a powerball on the way. String together several slides and you'll soon build up a healthy lead.
Try using the shock powerball if your opponent is using hyper. If your opponent is moving quickly the shock trail is very difficult to avoid.
The frustration powerball can really give you a competitive edge and annoy your opponent to boot. Try placing the trap above or near one of your opponent's powerballs or on square you know they will travel past.
Grab one of your opponent's powerballs when you flip over to score a goal, if nothing else it's one less for them to use against you!
When you select a grid think about what will work best with your powerball selection. Some powerballs have a slight advantage on large open grids whilst others work well on small and intricate grids.
Try to keep a close eye on your opponent's movements and always be ready to use your shield when they attack.
If your opponent has almost filled their pellet meter and is way ahead, you have no choice but to attack. Do a jump attack and if that fails try ramming them whilst using a shield.
Try for combination attacks. If your opponent is stuck in your (frustration) trap or pinned in place by Rage's spike attack you can get close and inflict extra damage with your bash attack.
Opponents will be out of control as they travel around a loop-the-loop so lay in wait for them and trigger a bash attack just as they reach the end.
